Active technology provides additional stability due to its stable rocker sole and wider heel and forefoot contact area. Stable rocker sole technology helps to encourage the natural roll of the foot, thereby reducing peak impacts on the feet and joints. On the lateral side of the heel, the active sole has an upwards turn to allow a heel strike in supination to counter overpronation. 

Outdoor walking styles feature a Chevron Grip for excellent outdoor traction. Construction may vary by style.
